Avocet Security Products
The ABS master cylinder from Avocet is a cylinder which protects against common forms of attack including lock picking, drilling, bumping and snapping.
Featuring a patented active snap protection which is hidden in a solid molybdenum core, the cylinder is accredited and tested to many standards including the Police Preferred Secured by Design Specification, BSI British Kitemark and Sold Secure Diamond.
Unlike other cylinders, the external part of the cylinder has two sacrificial break points that will break away, this means that intruders are far less likely to successfully compromise the lock. After the snap line, the cylinder has 16 anti drill pins to secure against drilling.
